We offer the full range of hosting packages: from shared hosting through to co-location, at a variety of facilities, to suit your needs.

We understand that your Internet presense may grow over time - and other requirements may change. The range of options (summarised below) allows your organisation to progress naturally with Bay Hosting.

Shared Hosting

Our shared hosting package provides the benefits of hosting (such as: your own domain, website and e-mail addresses) with the entry-level costs of shared hosting and zero-management. You need not concern yourself with hardware and software management.

We provide these services on our own resilient hardware and software, hosted across our facilities. You benefit from an independent-looking presense on the Internet (e.g. www.yourco.co.uk) at inexpensive rates.

This package is suitable for companies of all sizes - but is targetted at those requiring a modest Internet presense.

Managed Hosting

For customers with specialist, high-volume or high-security requirements, a managed hosting package may prove more appropriate. The benefits over shared hosting include dedicated hardware, and a more flexible hardware and software package - to suit your needs.

In this package, Bay Hosting continue to manage the hardware and software on your behalf, at our secure facilities, and configure and maintain that package according to your bespoke requirements.

Dedicated Hosting

For customers requiring more active control over their presense, a dedicated hosting package offers a self-manage solution beyond that of managed hosting. This option is for those wanting to install, configure and maintain their own software.

Of course, Bay Hosting will manage the hardware on your behalf - at our own secure facilities.

Co-location

Co-location is for customers wishing to deploy their own equipment at Bay Hosting's facilities.

Co-lo customers can manage their own hardware (and software) through a combination of Internet connectivity, serial console access, remote power-cycling and (as needed) on-site visits.

Bay Hosting provide the physical space, power and network connection in one of our secure facilities. We can also offer basic hardware support.

Combination package

Taking a typical example of a combination of requirements: our customers often want to co-locate their own hardware to run their own applications, but are not interested in managing their own website/e-mail packages. Bay Hosting can provide both with their co-location and shared hosting packages - in an inexpensive manner.
